About This Place

Karahi Point Richmond Hill stands out as a premier destination for lovers of authentic South Asian cuisine, masterfully blending the rich culinary traditions of Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi, and Sri Lankan fare under one roof. Located conveniently at 13237 Yonge St Unit B1 in Richmond Hill, this fine dining halal restaurant is a vibrant hub where every dish tells a story of passion, heritage, and exceptional flavor.

From the moment you step inside, the inviting ambiance sets the tone for a memorable meal. Warm lighting, clean and thoughtfully arranged seating, and attentive, friendly staff combine to create a dining experience that feels both welcoming and refined. Whether you choose to dine in and soak up the atmosphere or opt for takeout to enjoy the flavors at home, Karahi Point impresses with its consistent quality and care.

At the heart of Karahi Point’s menu are the signature karahi dishes, famed for their bold spices and intense aroma. The Chicken Karahi, available both bone-in and boneless dark meat, bursts with the bright freshness of ginger garlic paste and diced tomatoes seared on a fiery high flame, laced with a chef’s secret blend of spices. This dish exemplifies comfort and tradition, delivering a deeply satisfying, savory experience that is both soul-warming and exhilarating to the palate.

The menu also features crowd-pleasers like the Butter Chicken – marinated overnight and simmered to perfection in a luscious creamy tomato sauce – and Chicken Tikka Masala, where boneless chicken dances with roasted cumin, garlic, and green peppers in a richly spiced tomato gravy. For biryani enthusiasts, the Chicken Tikka Biryani, while lighter on meat, presents fragrant basmati rice infused with aromatic spices, a perfect complement to the more robust karahi offerings.

Complementing the mains are expertly crafted sides such as the fluffy Butter Naan and tangy, cooling raita and chutneys that elevate each bite. For a hearty grilling experience, the Chicken and Beef Seekh Kababs offer smoky, perfectly spiced morsels that keep patrons coming back. Adventurous eaters will appreciate specialties like Brain Masala and Nihari, which showcase the restaurant’s commitment to authentic, bold flavors.

Families will find the kid’s menu equally thoughtful, featuring crispy Chicken Chunks served with fries—a satisfying treat that combines comfort and flavor for younger diners. To round off the meal, the Malai Kulfi and Kulfi Falooda offer a delightfully sweet and creamy finish that lingers in the memory.

Customer feedback consistently praises Karahi Point for its warm hospitality and spotless setting. Diners rave about the freshness and vibrant flavors of the karahi dishes, the generous portions, and the genuine care from staff. As one long-time visitor noted, the restaurant offers a consistently excellent, flavourful experience complemented by a clean and inviting space that makes every meal feel special.

In summary, Karahi Point Richmond Hill offers a rare combination of authenticity, attentive service, and a rich tapestry of flavors that beckon food lovers to indulge in South Asian culinary artistry. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply craving an extraordinary meal, Karahi Point promises an experience that is as satisfying as it is memorable.

Consistently good food with a great ambiance and friendly staff. Dined in a few times and also catered kebab platters. Food have been excellent each time. Our favorites our the beef seekh kebab, chicken seekh kebab and chicken white karahi, dal makhani with fresh butter or garlic naan. Got a chicken Biryani long time ago and it was decent. Their chutneys are really good too and they serve masala onions which a lot of places don't anymore.

A long overdue review! I visited Karahi Point last summer while in town visiting a friend who loves authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine. This location quickly became a favourite. The karahis are always fresh, full of flavour, and served in a reasonable amount of time. While the biryani could use a bit more meat, the karahi dishes are truly the highlight and perfect for sharing.

A long overdue review! I visited Karahi Point last summer while in town visiting a friend who loves authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine. This location quickly became a favourite. The Karahis are consistently fresh, full of flavour, and served within a reasonable time. While the Biryani could use a bit more meat, the Karahi dishes are the real highlight and perfect for sharing among a group. On this visit, we also tried the Shahi Paneer for the first time to accommodate a vegetarian in our group. It was a hit, our friend who regularly orders this dish said it was the best they’ve ever had. Prices are reasonable, especially when sharing, which makes the experience even better. We ended the meal with their Cake Alaska, a rich molten lava cake that exceeded expectations despite how full we were. Overall, Karahi Point consistently delivers delicious food and a great dining experience, Highly recommend.
